#TUSDSports is featuring profiles this year of athletes who are exceptional in attitude as well as performance. They were selected to be interviewed by their schools and coaches. Each story reflects the passion of individuals who have found that school sports are an avenue that enriches their personal and academic life. This is Omar Wright II, a freshman at Santa Rita High School.

In January 2025, we were officially recognized by the National Athletic Trainers' Association for meeting the criteria for this prestigious award.  Very few high schools have this distinction!

Santa Rita has been recognized as a 'B' school by the Arizona Department of Education for the 2023-2024 school year!

Congratulations to Lauren Peralta, our College and Career Readiness Coordinator, for earning the Patriotic Employer Award from the Office of the Secretary of Defense. This honor recognizes Lauren's dedication to national security and her commitment to protecting liberty and freedom by supporting employee participation in the National Guard and Reserve. She has also created a strong partnership between Santa Rita and its local recruiters. Way to go Lauren!
