Welcome to the Santa Rita Health Office
Here in the Santa Rita Health office, we strive to give the best care possible to all of our students and staff. We are committed to promoting a safe, healthy and professional environment.Students are welcome to stop by before school, during lunch or after school for health problems or questions. Any other time during the school day, the student is required to have a Nurse Pass from their teacher. .
Students are not allowed to carry any medication on campus. They may carry cough drops, especially during the cold and flu season! Students with asthma inhalers, epi-pens or diabetic supplies are permitted to carry their medications with them. Otherwise we have Tylenol, Advil and Tums in the health office and can give those to students as long as we have a signed emergency card on file allowing us to give that medication.
We have elevator keys available if a student needs one due to an injury/illness. A hold is placed on the student's account until the key is returned.
Our hours are:
7:30am-3:15pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
7:30am- 3:00pm Wednesday
Attention ALL Students. It is strongly recommended that you get the COVID vaccine.
Vaccines
PCHD Immunization
Vaccines help prevent infectious diseases and save lives.
It is important for students to be up to date on their immunizations. And the Pima County Health Department (PCHD) is available to help you avoid waiting until summer for “back to school shots”!! Beat the rush, avoid long lines, and stay up to date with your shots.
Don’t know if you need any shots right now? Just check with your provider, the PCHD office, or your school nurse. Or go to www.pimahealth.org and click on Immunizations to see the current schedule.
